So The last drift event I got to do in my blue S14 I ended up blowing the motor after about 20 mins into the day. It doesnt really surprise me because sr20's seem to hate me as of lately.LOL. Luckily my brother from another mother let me use his awesome white zenki S14 for the day and we drifted the shit out of it! Lil mikey was also shredding it up that day aswell! Here are some pics...

As for the blue S14's motor situation, We did alittle brain storming and decided on a platform that isnt widely used here in the good ol USA yet. The 1UZ-FE. The motor is a DOHC 4.0 liter v8 that is not only high reving and compact but also similar in weight to the sr20 aswell so balance hopefuly wont be sacrificed. Did I also mention dirt cheap also? $450 for the motor/wiring/ecu! Now that the east coast summer is just about over and soon enough it will be the cold winter. Stay tuned for pics and updates on the motor swap and also other fun modifications being made to the cars.

Here are a few pics of where the project is heading..

SR20 premium racewars!

So we took the motor out of the Blue Bomber with other plans in mind. It had some odd noises that we thought was in the transmission, but when pulling the pan and starting to clean it to put into the white car for Freedom Moves, I opened it up to find this.

So apart it came. With all the spare parts laying around, I threw together a block with some random pistons. Got a HKS head gasket from Mr. Boon and decided to try throwing it together with a Freddy intake manifold and some other fun parts. Hopefully it will run!

This is where i left off for the night. Garage is blown up, ready to have the motor finished and then finally cleanup time.
After hours of cleaning the gunk and grime off the motor and head they look pretty good.

Sorry if the pics are shitty, camera phone and dark garage dont mix well.

Rainy day, sleepy silvias

Little interior fun

So since the white car is now turbo and seems to be going decent I started to make a cluster for the SAFC and boost gauge.

Still in some finishing stages and still need to decide on color.

Going to finish sanding and re-install it tonight or tomorrow.

Ended up finding that the water pump is now leaking too. New one in hand, just gotta try to install it today.

Still trying to make it to Englishtown for the next ClubLoose event this Saturday.

Recap and some progress.

So heres some pics from the last Clubloose Hot Moves event.

Mike Vogt killing it like usual.

And since then, we did the clinic we posted the video up from. Got home and the white car got its motor pulled to fix a trans mount that broke and to install the t25 that was waiting.

Should be back in tonight, gotta finish the ABS removal and make up a heat sheild for the booster.

Club Loose HTL at Englishtown

The white car made it out this weekend to play as well as Mike Vogt.

Both cars suffered from the ever so familiar bent tie rod. I was able to get one from a fellow driver and was able to continue to drive. Also handed the keys to the s14 over to let Mr. Vogt feel the POWER! HAHA

2nd or 3rd run of the day. That was fun!

Updates on the Muscle car

So this week I got around to pulling the T56 out of the black car.
Pretty much what I found was what was expected.

Here are the 5-6 keys that got bent and broken.

Its a common issue to see when the trans gets stuck in gear.

Heres the keys cleaned and out of the magnet.

And the last piece that is stuck in there. I am waiting to order parts and then ill rebuild it.
